Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether teaching reading through Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) can improve reading comprehension of the eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Trimurjo, Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is quantitative research, using quasi-experimental research that involved an experimental group as receiver of the treatment. The instrument used in this study was a question sheet consisting of 40 questions based on aspect reading comprehension. To collect the data, the researcher conducted pre-test and post-test in the form of reading comprehension question related to narrative text. The researcher employed experimental class (teach reading comprehension with MALL method) and the control class (teach reading with conventional method). The research show that, there is a significant different of reading comprehension between experimental class and control class indicated by independent value 0.000 (?>0.05). The mean of post-test in experimental class higher than in control class meaning that the use of MALL in experimental class is effective. It is suggested that English teacher may use MALL as a teaching method for improving students' reading comprehension. They can cultivate the features of Quizizz and Canva to facilitate teaching reading comprehension
