Abstract

The book that was written by author Gillian Flynn give a new atmosphere and enlightment about love and psychological view of the character. Gone girl is spesial because the story is an emotional reflected on Amy’s character. This analysis to explain about background of how is archetype great mother and what is the impact of archetype great mother to the main character as seen in Gone Girl and What are the negative impact of archetype of great mother to the main character as seen in Gone Girls novel and the research used qualitative method which the data are taken from the book and inform the dialogue, narration, and quotation. Hopefully this review can give information for the reader about Gone Girl book related to the great mother archetype.
