Abstract

This thesis is an analysis of a character which focused on finding anti hero characteristics that appear in Deadpool Movie. It is to prove the character of anti heroism. The aim of this research is to identify the anti hero characteristics that appear in Deadpool Movie by using cinematographycal aspects. To analyze the data, the writer applied archetypal theory of Jung to help the writer found the answer the characteristic of anti hero. The research method that used in this research was qualitative method. The data source of this research is a movie of Deadpool that created in 2012 and directed by TJ Wilson. The data were taken from some scenes in the movie, by screenshooting the scene that proves the anti heroism. Based on the result of data analysis, the writer found seven evidences that showed in the movie which proved the acts of Deadpool that potray the anti heroism. The writer focused on finding the acts of Deadpool as a main character that are different from other heroic characters. The seven evidences are Deadpool appears as a missionary killer, a hater, a anti hero, a vengeful person, a paid killer, a dumb, and a foolish.
