Abstract

Basic food is soomething that humans really need to fulfill their need for food. The role of food stalls in rural areas is also very important for people to buy their daily needs. However, currently sales transactin processing is still processed manually, resulting in inaccurate and irrelevant sales information. User also have difficulty making monthly sales reports. Tokotok grocery stores want to carry out innovations to increase sales in achieving effective performance in various activities. Therefore, to achieve this goal, the Design Thinking Method was chosen in the Implementation of Sales Applications which focuses on ease (Usability) and user satisfaction (Satisfaction) with the application. The Design Thinking Method consists of five iterative stages which can be used to strengthen innovation, solve a problem and help understand user needs so as to provide the right solution. The result obtained from user validation when using prototypes and applications, this is the conclusion that the application design has met the benchmark criteria, by obtaining a user satisfaction level of 57 points, where these points have met the criteria rules for measuring the Systeam Usability Scale so that this application design can be developed by the development team to become Tokotok.
