Abstract

Stunting is one of the nutrition problems that has received special attention at the national level, especially in developing countries. Stunting is associated with a high risk of disease and death, and can inhibit brain, motor and mental development in children. According to a World Health Organisation report, there are 149.2 million stunted children worldwide. This problem requires an effective solution to prevent long-term impacts on children's health and development, and this app emerges as a solution to stunting prevention. This research aims to create an effective user interface in preventing stunting in toddlers with a user-centric approach and design thinking method. Researchers provide solutions to mothers of toddlers in detecting early stunting, providing health facilities, assisting in finding vaccination schedules, and providing information on how to prevent stunting. The results showed that the StundGuard application received an average score on the "Excellent" scale category based on User Experience Questionnaire testing. The app successfully met the expected standards and received positive feedback from potential users and nutritionists. Feedback from users indicates that the app is very helpful in monitoring children's health and growth, as well as providing easy access to health information and services, thus supporting stunting prevention efforts effectively.
