Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find the symptoms and types of schizophrenia disorder in septimus character seen in a novel entitled mrs dalloway by virginia woolf. The theory applied by the writer in this reseach is schizophrenia disorder theory from Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing book (2011) about schizophrenia. Furthermore, the writer employed descriptive qualitative method while the data were collected through narration. To answer the research question structurally, the writer arranged the literature review by putting about the theory and approach. Pschology of literature was applied to answer the research question. The results of the study shows that there are three symptoms of schizophrenia can be found in mrs dalloway novel by virginia woolf, they are: positive symptoms, negative symptom and cognitive deficits. While only one the type of schizophrenia, it is undifferentiated type.
