Abstract

Dalam kegiatan mengajar di sekolah maupun dalam hal absensi guru, absensi merupakan suatu hal yang penting karena dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan siswa serta kinerja guru dalam keberlangsungan kegiatan belajar mengajar terutama di SMK Wiratama Kotagajah. Pada saat ini, sistem absensi di SMK Wiratama Kotagajah masih memakai sistem absensi konvensional yaitu ketika guru hadir ke sekolah atau tidak hadir di sekolah hanya absen melalui kertas yang sudah disiapkan pihak staff Tata Usaha disekolah lalu menandatangani kertas absen tersebut. Seperti halnya absensi di SMK Wiratama Kotagajah yang masih menggunakan cara manual (tanda tangan), cara ini sangatlah rawan bagi suatu lembaga pendidikan karena tingkat kedisiplinan yang tidak dapat di kontrol dan dapat disalah gunakan oleh orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab, kerugian lain yang mungkin muncul pada sistem absensi manual adalah rekapitulasi data yang masih memakan banyak waktu dan tenaga. Oleh karena itu maka dibuatlah sebuah sistem absensi guru menggunakan QR Code dengan bahasa pemograman PHP yang akan diterapkan di sekolah SMK Wiratama Kotagajah, yang mana dalam hal ini pengertian QR Code, kependekan dari Qiuck Response Code, merupakan gambar dua dimensi yang memiliki kemampuan untuk menyimpan data. Absensi guru berbasis QR code adalah memanfaatkan teknologi QR code untuk mengotomatisasi proses absensi guru di institusi Pendidikan khususnya Di SMK Wiratama Kotagajah. Dalam konteks absensi guru berbasis QR code, setiap guru akan memiliki QR code pribadi yang terkait dengan identitas mereka dalam sistem. Dengan adopsi absensi guru berbasis QR code, institusi pendidikan dapat mengoptimalkan proses administrasi, meningkatkan efisiensi, dan memperbaiki akurasi data absensi guru. Kata Kunci: SMK Wiratama, Waterfall, Qrcode, Website. In teaching activities at school and in terms of teacher absenteeism, absenteeism is an important thing because it can affect student success and teacher performance in the continuity of teaching and learning activities, especially at Wiratama Vocational School, Kotagajah. Currently, the attendance system at Wiratama Kotagajah Vocational School still uses a conventional attendance system, namely when teachers are present at school or are not present at school, they are only absent via paper that has been prepared by the administration staff at the school and then sign the absence paper. Like attendance at Wiratama Kotagajah Vocational School which still uses the manual method (signature), this method is very vulnerable for an educational institution because the level of discipline cannot be controlled and can be misused by irresponsible people, other losses that may arise in manual attendance system is a data recapitulation that still takes a lot of time and energy. Therefore, a teacher attendance system was created using a QR Code with the PHP programming language which will be implemented at the Wiratama Vocational School Kotagajah, where in this case the meaning of QR Code, short for Qiuck Response Code, is a two-dimensional image that has the ability to store data. .QR code-based teacher attendance is utilizing QR code technology to automate the teacher attendance process in educational institutions, especially at Wiratama Vocational School, Kotagajah. In the context of QR code-based teacher attendance, each teacher will have a personal QR code associated with their identity in the system. By adopting QR code-based teacher attendance, educational institutions can optimize administrative processes, increase efficiency, and improve the accuracy of teacher attendance data.
