Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalispengaruh motivasi kerja dan kepercayaan diri dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan pada PT Agta Sinar Jaya Bandar Lampung.Penelitian ini merupakansebuahpenelitiandeskriptif denganpendekatankualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian terhadap karyawan PT. Agta Sinar Jaya, Bandar Lampung sebagai berikut : (1). Motivasi kerja yang diberikan oleh PT Agta Sinar Jaya kepada karyawannya sudah dilakukan dengan baik, dan berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pengaruh ini bermakna semakin baik dan meningkat motivasi kerja yang diberikan terhadap karyawan maka kinerja karyawan akan semakin meningkat. Begitu juga sebaliknya semakin rendah motivasi kerja yang diberikan kepada karyawan maka akan semakin rendah kinerja karyawan, (2). Kepercayaan diri karyawan di PT Agta Sinar Jaya sudah baik meskipun masih belum maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh masih belum semua karyawan memiliki semangat tinggi untuk berprestasi karena sudah merasa berada pada lingkungan yang nyaman (comfort zona), (3). Kinerja karyawan di PT Agta Sinar Jaya sudah baik, tapi perlu ditingkatkan lagi karena belum maksimal. Peningkatan kinerja karyawan tersebut dilakukan dengan cara meningkatkan motivasi kerja karyawan, dan memacu semangat kerja sertakepercayaan diri karyawan agar mampu lebih berkreasi dan berinovasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja di perusahaan PT Agta Sinar Jaya. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Kerja, Kepercayaan Diri, Kinerja Karyawan ABSTRACT This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation and self-confidence in improving employee performance at PT Agta Sinar Jaya Bandar Lampung. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The techniques of data collection used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results are (1). The work motivation given by PT Agta Sinar Jaya to its employees has been done well, and has contributed significantly to employee performance. This effect means that the better and the increased work motivation given to employees, the employee's performance will increase. Likewise, the lower the work motivation given to employees, the lower the employee's performance, (2). The confidence of employees at PT Agta Sinar Jaya is good, although it is still not optimal. This is due to the fact that not all employees have high enthusiasm for achievement because they feel they are in a comfortable environment (comfort zone), (3). The performance of employees at PT Agta Sinar Jaya is good, but it needs to be improved again because it is not optimal. The increase in employee performance is carried out by increasing employee work motivation, and spurring morale and employee confidence to be able to be more creative and innovate in improving performance at the company PT Agta Sinar Jaya.
