Abstract

ABSTRACT Enhancing Tenth Grade Students’ Writing Ability through Flipped Classroom at SMA AL-Azahar 3 Bandarlampung. Eyin Tria Agustina 18113005 The purpose of this study is to examine whether students' writing ability has improved significantly at SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. This research is backed up by appropriate data collection techniques, such as pre-and post-testing. The analysis was conducted using a t-test and the IBM SPSS 20 application. The t-test was used to examine whether there was a significant increase between the experimental and control groups following the post-test. Students in the tenth grade at SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandarlampung were the subjects of this study. The findings section of this study demonstrates that there was a substantial difference in students' writing ability after being taught utilizing the flipped classroom methodology. The results of the t-test were declared significant because the t-count obtained was 3.644 and the t-table at the 5% significance level was 2.045. The p-value obtained was 0.001, which means it is smaller than 0.05. This results in a rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho), as well as the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H?). Students' writing abilities in English tenth grade classes at SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandarlampung were found to have improved as a result of the Flipped Classroom Model, which was implemented.
