Abstract
Google Classroom is a platform to facilitate remote teaching and learning, Google Classroom is a Google-owned application that allows teachers and students to meet each other online. Students at SMA Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung have been carrying out online learning through Google Classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions of the use of Google Classroom in learning English. This research uses a qualitative method which is carried out for 2 days within 2 weeks. 2 meetings in class XI IPA 1 SMA Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung. A total of 24 students. In this study, students answered questionnaire statements from researchers who answered positive perceptions such as agreeing and strongly agreeing some answered negative perceptions, disagreeing and strongly disagreeing. Students who answered positive statements agreed and strongly agreed that learning English using google classroom was very fun and easy to understand the appearance of the google classroom platform application. while negative perceptions answered disagree and strongly disagree because google classroom application is boring and makes them bored in learning English using google classroom.
