Literature and psychology are two branches of science that study human soul, since in psychology, it analyzed human behaviors and their causes, while literature depicts human behavior. Thus, related to that, the writer through this research is focusing on describing psychopathic disorder from the main character of Jack from the film of The House that Jack Built (2018) by Lars von Trier. In this research, the writer conducted descriptive qualitative method and applied psychological approach. Here, the writer conducted Verstappen’s theory (2011) of psychopathic disorders which concerns on the characteristics of psychopathic disorders such lack of empathy, lack of remorse, superficiality, grandiosity, irresponsibility, impulsive behavior, compulsive lying, manipulative and anti-social behavior. As the result of the research, the writer found that from the total of nine psychopathic disorders explained by Verstappen, there are only seven characteristics that are reflected by Jack in the film, they are: lack of empathy, lack of remorse, superficiality, grandiosity, impulsive behavior, compulsive lying and manipulative. Furthermore, from all of those characteristics, the writer also found the fact that most scene that appeared related to psychopathic disorders of Jack is lack of remorse. Here, the writer noticed that the data findings of this scene mostly appear since it shows how Jack murdering people on purpose without feeling any hesitation or even guilty. Moreover, after Jack killed them, he did not simply bury them properly just like common people, but he stores them in his personal industrial freezer and he also takes pictures of every single victim that he killed with different poses that he designed purposely.
